No, I'm not celebrating my 50th birthday. Not yet at least, that will be in 22 years. I'm celebrating my 50th follower!!! I am very thankful to all the followers of my blog. When I first started in August 2010 I was my only follower for a few days, then my second follower was a very close cousin. It stayed that way for a while then it took off. I'm grateful. Although when I first started out I've said that it didn't matter how many followers I have, it does feel good to know that there are people out there willing to read my thoughts and leave their opinions.
In addition to enjoying writing, I do enjoy the dialogue with the other ladies and gentleman. I also love reading other people's blogs. It's hard to believe that about this time last year I did not even know what a blog was. I've met some really talented ladies (even "behind the scenes").
Oh yeah, I also want to thank my wonderful husband. When I first started blogging he asked me how many followers I anticipated that I would have. I told him that it would be great to have 50 followers by the end of the year. He started telling random folks to join my blog--but none of them did. LOL. That's alright, he tried and I appreciate him.
Anyway, I look forward to sharing many more posts with you all. Even more, I look forward to your comments and opinions. Please feel free to come over whenever. The doors are open 24 hours. I will even leave the lights on at night for you :)
