Just for laughs
My baby rivals JAWS. I call him Sharkie. Sometimes I see him approaching and I here that JAWS tune. You know the one I'm talking about.
Most of the time when he feeds he's cool, other times he's vicious.
Don't let him be a little hungry. He will start sniffing , grunting,
huffing and puffing until he gets the boob. As he gets closer his head
violently moves from side to side with mouth wide open. As soon as he
latches on he slips off because he's too eager. Mama tries to calm him down
by talking, singing or rocking but she realizes it's tough to pacify a
shark. He gets frustrated and the fight begins. Well it's a fight for
him but his now experienced mama views it as a dance (and she's the
leader). Too bad she didn't realize that she cannot dance with a shark.
He finally digs in after doing it his way for a few seconds. Victory!
Until he gets too excited, slips off and starts the process again. I love nursing :)

ReplyDeleteCute :)
ReplyDeletelooks like you are becoming quite the pro! i like the shark comparison
ReplyDeletesame thing going on over here, but I never thought to give it a cute name! I'm so glad the nursing is going well :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is exactly my experiences with my baby the moment i introduce her to breastfeeding. As the months wore, she knows exactly where my breasts are. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's one thing i miss about my babies actually being babies anymore and nursing... it was quite comical watching them go to town! hahah :) Sweet memories
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! I couldn't have described it better myself. I literally do have to dance with my own little sharkess if I wait too long and she gets really mad. It's the only way to calm her down and get her to eat.
ReplyDeletei get you, nursing is the best experience ever. when you pacify the shark and she or he gifts you a smile you see your world open under your feet :)
ReplyDeleteyou had a baby! aww congrats! it's cool to read about nursing because i know i'll be there one day
